if you're thinking the statement was directed at you then no. But when less restriction = more boost then common sense is not being applied by the person who made the statement.

you're forgetting that compressing a gas causes it to create heat regardless of the cores. Less compression is less heat.

I second that. If I feel they perform enough, I will jump in. Oh, and good job OTTP for helping us cobalt guys out. Thanks

It appears that the outlet slits from the IC are opened up. Am I seeing that incorrectly?

can we see the dyno sheets on this? Also how about a stock m62 blower instead of a TVS blower?

Yes you are seeing correctly.

It has been done on a m62, the gains were meger 5 whp, as far as cooling goes the gains were much much better about a 24* drop in iat's.

The intake manifold is not that large of a restriction on the m62 in terms of flow, it does not disapate heat the best though.

well yea, since the head is the bottleneck (imo, dynos will prove it). Also it was said that you need free flowing exhaust for the gains. More reason why i think the head is the bottleneck since the exhaust loses power over 3 inch on the stock m62.

i have a hunch this IM will make an extra 15 whp on a ported+rebuilt head.
