Power Engine Reduced??? Help!!
The codes I have are
P0340 Intake Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Circuit ECM, PCM
P0341 Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor Performance ECM, PCM
P1182 Supercharger Inlet Pressure Sensor Performance PCM
I it takes a long time for the car to start. And whenever I boost say over 10PSI the car goes into Engine Power Reduced.
Any ideas?
I had the timing done to see if it was the problem but nothing.
Any help?

Well my mechaninc did it. . But it was sort of in a rush.. just got a wrench, took out the 1st spark plug and put a stick in there until it was at the very top.
Then put back the cam sensor.
If you know a different way that is done would it be much asking for directions?
I figured there was much more to it. Thanks

who did the timing? that cam position sensor has to go in a certain way if not you will be all wacked out, and timing is a bit tricky on our car aswell. the first time i did it i forgot to reset the tensioner for the chain... no damage but it sounded like a tractor.

well, the breakdown is this......cylinder 1 tdc on the compression stroke. Line the marks on the cmp sensor housing with the mark on the hex part that goes into the camshaft.....install it and tighten it up.

well to be fully sure you are dead on timing you need to take the valve cover off and the front timing cover. check the colored links on the timing chain and see if they match up the the notches on the gears. i know that its not always going to line up but in order for the timing to perfect you gotta spin it over a few times and see if they line up. their should be 3 colors links depending on the year and 2 colors are for the cam gears and the other is on the bottom. you do have a small amount that you can be off either way before you will do any damage. i was 1 tooth advanced on my intake side and 2 retarded on the exhaust side and i didnt do any damage. i knew i was off timing and i didnt want to pull the front timing cover off so all i did was count the links between the 2 colored links and i made sure i was at TDC #1 comp stroke. once i had that number i made sure thats how many links i had inbetween the notches on my gears. the gears also have to be at 10:00 and 2:00 at TDC. its not the correct way todo it but it will get you by untill you have the time to take it all apart and do it right
