Ok so I been having an issue with my speedometer the past few months and it's getting kinda annoying. Problem is sometimes when I punch the gas my speedo will flat line and go to zero and stop working for a few mins, now it's only the speedo everything else stays working tach ext ext, And it will then start to bounce around and come back into were it will work again. Now side effect is when the speedo dies like this my car drives fine, accept for if I come out of gear the car will die on it's own if I let the rpm drop and not go back in gear or come to a stop. Go back into gear car runs fine. Does any one have an ideal of what's causing this. Only thing that I can think of is maybe my vechiel speed sensor is on it's way out the door? Any help form you guys would be a big help thanks. Ps my power steering was also fixes under recall already as well. Thanks again guys!!

I would check the speed sensor like you said. Other than that maybe some kind of short. :/

Not to try and thread jack, but does anybody else have a "slow" speedometer? Like when I pin the throttle in second gear and let of at, let's see, about 55-60, it takes the speedometer a second or so to catch up to the speed I'm going.

yep its my (vss) now i just got to get a new one from an 05 from the junk yard or from someone one the site. or go to the dealership and get rapped on price
