Pulleyboyz 2.8 GM stage 2 ring!!!!!!!!! OMG OMG
Well This was way easier then I originally thought. We got the 2.8 incher on. It took about 5 minutes. Word to the wise, losen all the blue bolts before taking the belt off as it holds the stock stage 2 ring in place so you can losen them. With the belt off its impossible to get them to come out.
Another thing we noticed is that the Pulley boyz ring weighs like half of what the stage 2 ring weighs. Its very similar in quality, and seems to work flawlessly. I will be resetting my ECU soon, but even without that it was noticably faster, especially in the 2500-4000 range. I took a few videos of acceloration and will have them up in a few. This is well worth it, and I love the extra power. I reused the blue bolts, and will keep this pulley on unless something goes wrong, in which case I will swap it back to avoid issues. MY bro gives it two thumbs up.
make sure you have
1.) an extra person
2.) a 15 mm wrench
3.) the GM stage 2 torque bits
Oh I got my CAB's installed today too. 60 bucks install. Glad I shopped arround, as Car V2 was going to charge me 180.... I was like WTF. They are pretty awesome too, but until I get to the track I wont be able to test them as much.

You want to leave the belt on cause it will help hold it in place. Also having a second person helps cause my bro held the stock pulley down with the help of the belt, and that helped me break all the bolts free. Once they where loose I took off the belt and took all the bolts out took pulley off put new one on then reversed the process.

Oh and I ordered my BKR7E's but they havent been delivered yet. Still running on the BKR6E's right now. Once I get them I will put em in right away, should be Monday or Tuesday.
My interceptor is back in non work mode, so I cant check knock/boost/horsepower or anything else I wanted too

There should be 2 bits with the kit, though, one large one (for a socket wrench) and a small one (screwdriver type bit I think). That's what came with my kit.

Im thinking of something like this for the track. Could i just swap it in and then run then swap it out and not have to do any programing, etc? How much did the pulley cost and can the dealer notice it's been changed out?

Nice eh? I love the 2.8 pulley.
How much boost are you seeing? I get 17.5.

it seems to come and go at will, so as soon as it comes back into working order I will provides lots of information !
I was boosting 16.3 before the 2.8 per the interceptor, I posted a video of it arround here somewhere.
Now the passenger is nailed to the seat when you punch it. Its really sick. I mean even if your racing or driving out of gear (like 40 mph in 3rd) and punch it you feel the power that wasnt there before. Really kool ****.
question on CAB's if I may. Does it make any sense for after the installation of these for everything to be smoother? I mean my first gear is so smooth, and my 1st - 2nd when just cruising has become way more smooth? Hell its smoother everywhere....

The control arms aren't flexing as much and there is less movement. Mine were like that as well. Still nice and smooth.
