From looking at stage 2 dynos they run so fat fuel wise that the 2.8 just helps it lean out to almost normal, once someone gets a actual dyno of the stg 2.8(LOL) with full a/f we wont know for sure but the interceptor readings that he took clearly show very little knock!
With the colder plugs it should be AOK! maybe a little torco for race days

Alright just installed mine and i found a trick..
1- take the belt off, trust me
2- use a rubber strap wrench on the pulley and the GM tool to loosen the bolts
3- remove old pulley and install new new one
4- with rubber strap wrench torque bolts to 15 FT/LBS
5- put the belt back on, and be sure to check that its centered on all pulleys
6- your done, enjoy!

Finally got my car back from Bill Heard. They loosened the bolts for me like I asked, AND THEN INSTALLED THE NEW RING FOR $50 AFTER I TOLD THEM 6 TIMES NOT TO! 20 minutes of argueing with the service manager and they dropped the $50 charge. Now the question is, did they torque the new bolts as tight as the last time? That's why I didn't want them to put the new ring on (besides they wanted to charge $50). Shouldn't of left it sitting in my trunk.

I'm going to have to quit reading the forums, as much as I try to resist I keep spending money on my car. I just ordered one, hopefully I'll get it by this weekend.
