Theres a tensioner right behind the pulley and with a 15mm wrench on push towards the firewall and the belt will slide off

Just tried getting the bolts out and one of the bits broke. I am going to go to the dealler that installed the stage 2 and ask them to reread the directions and tighten the bolts to the proper specs.

Thats probably it then, I have an early kit.

The dealer didn't install that unkown part? Go back and have them do it! It's the final connection in the cars built in flux compacitor! My dealer installed mine and now my car can actually fly! Great for traffic jams! haha

I have no idea what that random object is but I have one too, hope its not important.

I hope your dealer is cooler than mine was. After all the arguing and insisting by the dealer that the bolts were supposed to be that tight, I realized they had put the pulley boys bolts back in instead of the blue. Why? Because they must of had to drill them out! There was only one blue bolt in the box I gave them the parts in and it was tore up pretty bad. Also, I didn't get the smaller bit back while the larger bit that I did get back is snapped!

Don't let them give you any crap, make them do it right (at no extra cost, of course).

Just got home form arguing with dealer. They said that the bolts are tamper proof and do not come off. They state that even if the bolts were torqued to 15 ft/lbs they would not come off. Is this a bunch of bs or what? I guess if I need the bolts retourqed I need to drop my car off for a day. WTF?

bolts are not tamperproof....they are easily removed IF the dealer reads the instructions and tq then bolts to recommended spec...

Dealers tell you anything to get out of everything!

Very true I took the belt off and used a rubber strap wrench on the pulley and the bolts came off, so give that a try

I already snapped one of the bits. I also tried a punch and hammer to possibly loosen. All that did was deform the head of the bolt. I have a feeling they will need to be drilled out. I hate dealers.

this is ridiculous!

Damn stupid effin inate dealer techs!

I would say try grabbing the head of the bolt if that happens with vice grips, the extra tq will get it loose....
