Rebel Auto Worxs Twin Screw tuning session and Video
Hello Just Like to Say testing is almost Complete on the Production Kit of the Twin Screw Supercharger swap. We Spent Many Hours developing this swap and are near completion.
Results so Far are very Impressive.
The test Car is a 2006 Cobalt SS mods Include Injen intake and 60lb injectors, restrictive factory exhaust,we'll get more into in a second.
Test Conditions. tad bit humid and 80f roughly 85-90f in dyno room.
Car made a very Impressive 281whp and 263whtq On 20psi and 17 degrees of timing!
The kit with a full exhaust and the same boost with be over 300whp,when the 7krpm line is reached.
The Good news starting the run at 127F IAT temp rose to 147f that's only a 20f gain!
With the addtion of a cobra heat exchange iat's will be even lower.
Compared to the stock eaton at over 60f gain with the same Boost levels!
Timing was Very conservative at 17degrees there isn't a need for methanol and running 25+ degrees to make power.
Street manners on the Kit is Incredible. Responsive and just plain old FUN to drive.
Boost Comes Up hard and Fast at the touch of the throttle.
Sorry for Writing a novel Here, but we are very excited about results so far.
300whp is easily achieved with the addition of an exhaust.
Estimate Price of $3000-3500.00
We'll have some More in a few days we'd like to install a Proper exhaust system on the test car.

why stop at 6k, it was still making power. well, was till the cmnd a/f went to crap up top, and just puked everything. smoother timing = happier bottom end
just adding my two pennies, don't take offense to it
at least someone is doing something now

this is awesome news. what are the hp limits on this blower? (can i up the boost via pulley and such, or is it maxed out?)
also pricing for full swap, and what injectors are on the test car?

So we cut things short on the dyno.
It Went of the map at that point.
It's building boost way lower in the timing tables so we need to smooth things out. there wasn't boost there. It's drastic change from what was in there.
I will have the Final Pricing at the end of this week just waiting for a Sweden to finalize the twin screw prices.
This is a full Production Kit we have parts for 20 Kits So far. There will be a 2-3Week wait time for superchargers to arrive from Sweden when your order is placed

i'm starting to reconsider going turbo. but there needs to be upgrade options
what have they said about getting to 350+ do-able on your blower?
p.s. whats the elevation up there?
I'm betting that same car would make like 315 down here at sea level on a nice 40-50*F day

hmm I will be alot more impressed when its around 300whp. Depending on the pulley size and everything. Going to be a interesting week that is for sure. Get some internals and if it is indeed keeping temps alot lower the the stock blower you should be able to run more boost. I could see 22psi + with forged pistons hitting 320 whp or so. Now that would be badass.
yea, it could jump a good 30whp with correct set up and tunning. Maybe even more. I hope it nails a good 310whp or so.

With Lower ambient Temps and a proper full exhaust this car will make around the 310-15whp mark. Current pulley is a 2.9" there is room to go down to a 2.5 if the snout is machined slightly.
Elevation is around 600ft give or take

Are you running any sort of upgraded engine internals? With your projeted HP levels being as high a they are, it would seem you would hav to upgrade your internals..THe last info I had was saying the crank went out at 310, followed by the cams and pistons? If I'm wrong, please correct me, as I am VERY interested in this setup.

your wrong pistons you might worry about around those power levels. crank is good to 500 hp. but with the lower temps and what not it will be interesting to see if they hold better
