i was talking about running it on the stock tires

but of course slicks would be a huge help, and you would probably need a clutch and axles to make them work for you.

i find it hard to see a stock SS/SC with just a TS swap running 12's on stock tires, getting a good 60' on tires now is nearly impossible, with all that new found power, if accually do hook up you snap an axel or smoke the clutch. which has been already stated. not saying its impossible but i think it be harder than most people think. then again its already been done. I guess we'l have to wait and see.

I smoke the clutch on drag radials as it is now. I have to be really easy with it off the line.

What kind of regular maintenance do you have to do to it like changin the oil and how does the reliability compare? The Eaton is good for 100k miles which is the only advantage it has over a twin screw

So... what about the people that already paid Mase for these?

Are they still getting the first 5? Or are the first five the ones in the Group Buy you are selling?

Mase is involved in this aswell as Jim, who used to work for TAG but now has his own company. Seems to be much better than TAG!

Congrats to Mase and Rebel. Can't wait to see future results from full testing as well as see some of these start to hit the public (mainly the 5 peeps w/down payments who have had to go through this long ordeal) and get their results. I would be all over the Group Buy if it was next summer. I made the decision to wait until my warranty is up first before I do any modding. Next summer I will have a different DD. At the moment I need my car for daily driving and can't afford to 'play'.

Good luck to all, and look forward to next summer! (hopefully the kits are still available then)

you guys really gotta stop talking **** about different shops there people. It's against the forum rules.. and is just plain annoying. There is a long story behind what happened with the TAG blower swap. and well it's not really my place to go into detail about it.

I always wondered why so many members **** talk the venders and the mods never crack down on it. Pisses me off royally. And I know I'm going to get about 20 neg reps for saying that but who gives a damn.

Keep up the good work and get this product out.

Could not agree more. Then they wounder why more aftermarket does not come out for our cobalts. Could be because of the way people respond when they do. Its never good enough even though they could not come anywhere near as close by themfselfs. +rep to you for that one.

I know I would do this mod if my warnity was not still in contact for another 50k miles...

You whine more then a 12 year old girl. You actually expect everyone to be in approval? Welcome to real life.

Yea, I got a brand new SS/SC with barely anything done to it and about two months old just sitting waiting for me to get back. With that extended warranty I don't know how much I'm going to do for a while, but a twinscrew kit is something I'm really interested in getting in the future.

Thanks for the whine and negative rep. Now go back to your own little private world and leave the dangerous stuff to people who actually get paid for it.
