this one is 100cfm bigger, and more effecient.. i'm liking this over the turbo.. at least for my needs. i just wanna run high 12s off the bottle, and low 12s on it.

plus the driveability and low end torque of the ss s/c are why i bought it. i imagine the characteristics of the car would stay closer to stock if i went the twin screw route

Sorry to soundlike a puss, but the car is my daily driver a well as my toy, and I'm still paying on it, so hopefully you guys can understand my wanting to be sure of this.
you will probably have to spring for an upgraded clutch and axles.. plus drag radials would be a very good idea.

Yeah, hence the part about upgrading the suspension/drive part...no way in hell the stockers will hold up to this, but good to know the motor will.

Clutch For sure axles should be fine if your not a track goer with sticky tires it would get ugly.
Like i said excellent upgrade over stock blower and a blast to drive!
This car will run 12's.. with some tires

Tuning is no harder than using the stock blower setup.

In terms of Pistons I suggest going stock compression or slightly less to avoid timing and tuning issues.
you said earlier the car was hitting boost now were it was not before so is the maf freaking out

IMO, once you get done tuning, run up to 7k and use a nice exhaust the numbers might actually be a little more suprising than what you've mentioned in this thread. It's better to stay on the conservative side before it happens but you made those numbers on very conservative timing at a lower than stock redline.

So was this done on a bone stock car or what. IIRC it just had an intake and that was all? Yah if that was done with a 2.9" pulley and you made 281 imagine what it would make with a 2.5" then 300whp should be a piece of cake, with upgrade pistons, and full bolt ons(I/H/E) and a tune 350whp shouldnt be problem.

judging by the log

at 7k rpms. you will be at 95.08% duty cycle.

not bad really. 20ms is stuck open, which comes out to be 116.67%

justa heads up

yes there are 72lb injectors out there that are direct drop in. I believe Rc engineering still sells them. The 60lb injectors will be fine for most.
Thanks for the quick calculation area47.

The only problem with this kit, using that charger in MY position is RPM. The 1200AX has a max rpm of like 14000 rpm, which is a 3" pulley with a 7k rev limiter. However it would be like a 3.5" pulley with my 8100 rpm limit. For normal guys it looks like a GREAT kit
