i think its possible, as far as a 50whp gain thats a lil to much i think but who knows. i know on stock ls1's just doing an ls6 head swap is good for 20whp ported ls6's 30+ as well as afr's, add a medium sized 224 cam and ur looking at a 60+whp gain w/ ported ls6's or afr 205's. so theres a good possibility that the lsj sucks alot of ass that a good port work can yield to 30whp on stock cam's. what i'd like to see if there were any correction's made to the dyno before and after. cuz to me it looks like there were.

they are reading the peak hp and torque off a spike.

still think the correction factors are different between stock and ported head, intake and exhaust.

gotta admit, that' pretty damn impressive, especially considering that there have been many people over the years that have said that you can't gain a lot from a ported head, they said it was all in the intake manifold restriction.

you're missing the slight variations in there.

the rpm = changed for a reason.

max power was read off a spike at 6500.

im really trying not to discredit anyone here. this is something that is really hard to swallow

well what was the reading before the spike, and why didnt they run it to 7k like the stock dyno run, amd if it was a spike of 10hp then who cares its still 40hp over stock

Also in the stock dyno something pulled a lot of timing starting at what looks to be 5500rpm (cant tell cause no rpm on graph) Im not sure on its affect on peak but notice the dip at 5500rpm isnt there on their after graph. And being the tunes were supposed to be the same...

lol, shall i post some flow numbers?
I can see a car like mine, area's or dan's really benefitting from this (you too al lol), but aside from that the stock head flows quite enough for the stock s/c guys

most of them never see the true protential of the stock motor as it sits anyhow.
