Rebel Ported Head Group Buy
As most of you are well aware we have started looking into the Ecotec head for more power.
Based on our research, we estimate a gain of approx. 40 CFM improvement on the intake side and a wopping 60 CFM on the exhaust. Most of the work will be on the exhaust side.
We're estimating 35-40HP gain on a GM Stage 2 setup. Of course this figure would increase significantly with a Twin Screw or turbo setup.
Details:
CNC port intake
CNC port exhaust
CNC port chambers
Diamond honed guides
Valve job
Deck skim
Clean, inspect and reassemble 16 valve head
Components Included:
Rebel 76lb or 94lb valve springs
Titanium Retainers
GM valve seals
Pricing:
Regular $1899.99US
But with minimum of 5 orders $1749.99US
Stage 2 Upgraded Head
+1mm Oversized 36.1mmIntake Valves
+1mm Oversized 31.1mm Exhaust Valves
Addtional Machine work required
Hand Finished Race Ports and Chambers
Total With the minimum 5 order $2150.00
All cores will need to be shipped to us and will take 2-3 weeks for work to be completed.
1. local Cobalt
2.
3.
4.
5.
so we need 4 more!
Payment:

well they might offer a core, but who knows. for 1700 that should come w/ kick ass titanium valve train, and some kick ass cnc work, its not all about maximum flow but keeping up a good amount of velocity inside the head. also will these heads be milled at all or are they retaining stock compression?

I dont know I just cant see getting in on a gb like this with out some actual flow numbers. My head might already flow more than yours but if you can prove other wise might be interested.

Hi !
I have a few questions :
CNC ported intake : Will it be matched with the stock lower intake manifold ?
CNC ported exhaust : Any idea how many material will be removed ?
CNC ported chambers : Polished ?
Diamond honed guides : Nice !
Valve job : Do you change the valves ? What material ?
Deck skim : Excuse me, but what is that ?
Clean, inspect and reassemble 16 valve head : So you re-assemble with stock cams ?
Components Included :
Rebel 76lb or 94lb valve springs : What is the main difference or benefits ?
Titanium Retainers : Less weight ? Other advantage ?
GM valve seals : Is that OK about the quality ?
So that package equals to your Stage 1 right ? Any big advantage to upgrade valve size ?
IMPORTANT : How many times it will take for a mechanic to remove the head from my car and get it mounted back on the car ?
Thanks !

Working on setup a few cores.
Hi !
I have a few questions :
CNC ported intake : Will it be matched with the stock lower intake manifold ? Yes
CNC ported exhaust : Any idea how many material will be removed ?Alot on the exhaust side it needs work to say the least.
CNC ported chambers : Polished ? Costs extra to have it done as it's done by hand.
Diamond honed guides : Nice !
Valve job : Do you change the valves ? What material ? We use your stock valves and replace and inspect them
Deck skim : Excuse me, but what is that ? The head is Checked for trueness on the deck to make sure it seals nice on the head gasket.
Clean, inspect and reassemble 16 valve head : So you re-assemble with stock cams ?
we just want a bare head keep your stock cams.
Components Included :
Rebel 76lb or 94lb valve springs : What is the main difference or benefits ? 76Lb are recommended for street race use. WILD setups with LOTs of boost will need to up the spring rate to the heavy guys.
Titanium Retainers : Less weight ? Other advantage ?Faster REVS less weight in the valvtrain Rev the car up too 8k rpm now with better springs and valves.
GM valve seals : Is that OK about the quality ? They are just fine.
So that package equals to your Stage 1 right ? Any big advantage to upgrade valve size ?
Not really a huge Difference in flow numbers Not like 20 Cfm or somthing.
If your going all out have it done.
IMPORTANT : How many times it will take for a mechanic to remove the head from my car and get it mounted back on the car ? It Varies on what the re and re would cost from state to state but i would budget at least 6 hours
Thanks !

We will have Dyno numbers very soon swell as a Flowsheet for this head.
We would appreciate Constructive comments and would like any bashing or arguing to take place Via pm's. I Know I don't wanna read and I think I'm not alone.
We are trying to provide a Great service at a decent Price.
Last time I checked the nearest competitor was charging 2400 for the Non CNC Ported head with no flow sheet.
If you guys do some research on other vehicles this is a great deal for a CNC ported head.
The Components we are using in this head are top notch and very high quality.

I have a feeling you are using supertech valvetrain components judging by your spring rates. If so why arent you offering the 78lb option:

Also, the info Dezod lists on required parts for all the SuperTech lines is incorrect. You can verify this with SuperTech directly.

I hope not, SuperTech 94s and 76s don't work with GM seats/seals. They require part number SEAT-EC3020 to work. Different spring diameters are the reason. The 78s will work with stock seats but are best used with additional seat locators.

Also about the time required is that 6 hours total or 6 hours removal and another 6 to get it re-installed back on the car ?
Thanks !
