red tip spark plug???

So I have been driving around and my car feels really hesitant and seems to misfire. I took the plugs out and the tips are red on all 4. WTF! I dont know what this is or means and no one at any auto places around here can tell me anything about it either. what to do??? here is some pics:

have you been running any sort of fuel additive or octane booster by chance?

actually i have. i used an octane booster not too long ago but this happened once before then too, a little while after sea foaming

seafoam should have nothing to do with it. i read up and the only thing i could find is additive to your gas mixture making spark plugs come out purple and red.

so does any of your searching tell how to make it go away. i am on my 4th set of plugs now

could be the additives in cheap fuel, what gas do you use? offbrand?... maybe a leak and coolant getting in

maybe whatever gas you are buying has addictives in it, like shells gasoline or something. just try switching gas stations.

i use a 7 elevens gas because it is the closest station that doesnt use ethanol.

go use chevron your next two fillups on new plugs and see if that fixes it

yeh all i could find was additives in the gas causing it no "cure" for it though try different gas i NEVER use an quick mart type of gas stations usually there gas sucks try some different gas

Less than 10% ethanol content wont really do anything... So it doesnt really matter.

High Speed Glazingthat indicate combustion chamber temp have risen suddenly during hard acceleration,normal deposits melt to form a conductive coating,causing misfires.so change the plugs with colder range.

if what he says is true. go 1 step colder and still i recommend changing gas stations.

well even though copper is the best conductor, it also does wear the quickest. get a new set of plugs and dont use anymore octane booster
