Octane boosters or fuel additives will cause a red tip to form on the spark plug.

I'd stay away from additives.

copper is the best conductor for spark, they are 8.99 for a pack of 4. gotta keep the car running good

personally i see no reason for using copper plugs. thats just my opinion

Copper is the only way to go. Especially in boost/nitrous applications.

better spark means better nucleus of the flame, which means better hatching of the flame, which means better propagation, completing the burn as best as possible

ive used copper, platinum, double platinum and iridium. i will always go iridium.

.035 seems to work for me. on copper and platinum i used .032 though

I had similar problem but was orange like rusty water, I think it was because I was running too much timing. Haven't seen it again.

On second look, mine happened while running at Hallett OK, you guy's have some weird crap in your fuel?
