Running injectors without tune?

Is it safe to run my 42# injectors on my car without a tune. I dont have anything done to it but the 42s and i need to be somewhere tomorrow morning and wont have the tune till later on that day. I put my 42s on tonight and pully will be on in the morning but i mightneed to go somewhere first. Anyone know?

When I installed my stage kit i installed the 42's and dove to the dealer for the flash.....I was surprised when i started my car.... it idled like normal , and ran perfect all the way to the dealer . I didn't have the pulley on thou , i waited until after the flash to install that.

42's aren't that different from stock. So you will probably still move and run I would just take the time and switch them back to stock if your not going to have a tune.

Yeah, shoul dbe OK as long as it isn't many miles. Overfuleing can result in washing down the cylinders with fuel and damaging the rings if you drive too long like that, but I think you'll be OK.

stay out of boost. you need to stay out of PE so the O2 sensor will compensate and run you at stoich.

I believe GM even said it's ok to drive the car to the dealer to get the stage1/2 tune after and install on the stock PCM as long as you aren't hot rodding.
