Running Rich.... 2.8 pulley+meth > 10.9 @WOT
hey guys,
as some of you may know, i installed my nitrous last week...it works well...fun stuff and using it moderately so i dont damage anything, nor get bored of it.
my problem is... before the nitrous install, i had my 2.85 pulley, 60 lb'rs, meth, and custom tune to accomodate the meth (increased timing, reduced idc's) ...was good...my lc-1 would read 11.4 to 11.8 @ WOT...
during my nitrous install, i noticed that my meth nozzle wasnt spraying it properly due to its location on my intake (i could see stain marks where the water would sit- i guess, it was poor placement first time around), so since i already had the intake off to plumb the nitrous jet, i decided to relocate my meth injector closer to the throttle body as well.
NOW, off the bottle im hitting 10.7-10.9 @WOT...guess my relocation of meth jet did the trick! how can i lean it out without getting tuned once more...dont feel like spending more money unneccessarily...thanks!

i think i will have this same problem once i relocate my nozzle closer to the TB
but its all good, i will just throw on a smaller pulley

You aren't tuning right if it's not precise.... dropping pullies not only increases heat but also leans out the car... if you tune for a 12.2 AFR for a 2.8 pulley.... you swap to a 2.7 pulley and still commanding that same 12.2 AFR without any tune adjustments how would that not lean him out!

Isnt there an adjustment point on the meth to lower the rate of injection per cfm@the nozzle?
