You can still buy OEM sleeves through a dealer. I got one about a year ago for $110. Part number is 88984129.

I've got an LSJ with some pretty severe scouring in the #1 cylinder wall from a ring. My local machinist told me he's had issues resleeving ecotec's in the past, he mentioned one guy had it done and 6 months later he was getting his oil & antifreeze mixing.
