Slave cylinder going bad..........

Car has 1600 miles. I broke it in nice and easy and now i'm noticing the 1-2 shift is slipping bad. I have read about this countless times and I was afraid it was going to happen to me. I used to be able to chirp the tires in second but not now. Any suggestions? I got the extended warranty. No mods.

I know there are a thousand posts about this. I read every single one. Somebody said theirs used to do that at early mileage but now it's fine at 16K. At 700 miles I could shift into second and chirp the tires. Now i can't, takes 2-3 secs to grab. Every other gear is fine!

Any suggestions?

The Dealer replaced my Slave cylinder at 7k. My clutch held like a champ after that, but now at 105xx miles, the clutch is mush again.

I guess I'll wait to see if it gets better first. Was the slave cylinder under the warranty? How did you guys come to that conclusion. I just guess I need to know what to tell them so they don't give me any hassle!

Clutch Job is only $705 out the door at the dealership! That is if you have a clutch to replace it with already.

Yea thats what my dealership told me too but i told em to **** off im doin it myself and they were like well if you do it yourself it wont be under warranty and i was like well u dont warranty the clutch anyway so what the hells the point in having you waste my money and do it, He just shut up after that, so i called gm today and they were on my side until they called the dealer and the dealer told GM what happened then all of a sudden GM was on there side, ended up hangin up on him.
