Spark Plugs For This Set Up?
I do not have much knowledge about spark plugs. I checked out a search and fond some useful info but I'm still not sure on the feedback from some of the members here. I'm looking for what exact changes give reason for certain type of spark plugs and why. Here is my set up:
2006 Cobalt SS/SC g85
GM Stage II
GMPP Touring Exhaust
GMPP Manifold
Injen CAI
GMPP Stage III 2-pass intercooler mod.
Possible 50 shot
Possible 2.9 or 2.79 pulley with dyno tune.
I'm smart enough to know that suspension upgrades and other things like that have nothing to do with the spark plugs but other then that I'm clueless on why and what works well with a set up like this. There is a small chance for a 50 shot included in that set up with a throttle body spacer. I have always been a fan of NGK but it seems like they have alot of differant step colder plugs. Thanks alot guys and gals...

Thanks, will 2 step colder make sense if I'm only going to use a 50 shot on the track a few times out of the year? Will this effect anything at normal every day driving? Also I have seen differant types of 1 step, copper, and all those differant things like that. Anything better then the other or is it just important to have one step colder peroid?

So the only differant between copper and iridiums is how long they will last. Performance seems the same...? Thanks alot for all the feedback. One step closer to buying plugs. Anyone else have some info on plugs?
