@slitterell ill be rebuilding the blower with this build, should have added that to my other projects. I'm on a3.1 now actually. I dont want to pulley down too far because of heat.
OEM valves, rockers, adjusters.
Riceburner and I are mulling over a few ideas on iats and I've been watxhing blackwaters thread pretty close.
Unless valves, rockers and adjusters are faulty, I wouldn't worry about replacing them.

You won't get as hot with cams and ported head because you will be making less boost. You get heat from the compression of air.

But good thread. Sub'd for results

I would be willing to bet my gray car is making a good 310whp. Wish we had a dynojet nearby.

What I meant by oem was the stuff that came with the head lol it only has 47k on it so they should be good.
I'm gonna have to do some r&d with pulley sizes and the only reason I'm starting at 2.9 is I ordered a 2.8 from zzp and they sent a 2.9. Then in the process of trying to install it the damn gm special bolt tool broke so its just be collecting dust.

Just a little update of the side projects I've been working on.
First is tinting my wideband. The damn LED's in this thing are insane and the dimmer isnt nearly enough.

Got the drivers side head light cover test fitted.

Covers will either be color matched or CF vinyl wrapped.

Well I'm doing getting cams for sure. Just trying to decide which ones, there are a few good options out there.

I'm leaning towards their s3 cams. They're more aggressive than zzp's cams. The s4 cams intrigue me but that might be too many revs for a stock bottom end.

That's up for discussion actually. Its gonna be more of how it feels vs. theoretical numbers.
