Not sure where you heard that, but it's not true. It'll swap in fine. I'll send you a PM with a price.

Block and crank arrived yesterday.

OTTP RSFS ordered and then my truck got angry...getting harder and harder to start which is kind of a big deal when your other vehicle is in pieces in your garage. This build may or may not slow down a bit. Depends if I can sort out the issues with my truck or if I buy another vehicle. Leaning towards the latter

At this point its not really worth it. Ill probably spend what I paid for it just on the known issues and who knows if that'll fix it.

I've gotten out of it what I spent on it. Its time for something new. Responsibility ftw!

I've found a few trucks/suv that are lots newer and in better condition in my price range.

Ill still run a 2.6 on e85 with the return style and make
More power than what I've got now. Ill just have to take it slow on the build and I'm sure I can have it done by years end. If not sooner.

Aw mann. Oh well atleast youre still gonna git her done. Gives you more time to collect parts and stuff. Machine shops like to take their sweet ass time with your stuff anyway

Sucks to hear your winter daily broke down. It happens though unfortunately. Sounds like you have some funds for a new one, which was good planning. Just take it one step at a time. No reason to put yourself in a tough spot just for a car!

Exactly. I figure new daily now. Tvs after a month or so then slowly build the engine. I've got a good chunk of the parts sitting here/purchased, little depressed they won't get put to use soon.

At least you have a perfectly good working engine now, so you can take it slow and get it done when it gets done, and you can enjoy it in the mean time!
