SS Rebuild - Few Surprises along the way.
So the LSJ was going to be returned to stock. We knew we had 1 bad piston so only one replacement was bought. After inspecting them closely, apparently we needed 2 new pistons (one wasn't that bad, just bad enough to make it a stupid idea to put it into a freshly re-sleeved engine).
Due to being pressed for time, the decision was made to use the pistons that we have that were for a build my BF decided not to go through with (he bought an STI instead of building the SS).
In went our Ceramic Coated Diamond Pistons @ 10.5 compression.
We are keeping the stock supercharger pulley as well (as originally planned).
I have a Cobra heat exchanger that is for sure going on, and we might put an oil cooler on as well since we do have one.

I hope you have access to HP tuners your going to have to reduce the timing by quite a bit to accept that compression in a supercharged motor to prevent knock, water methanol injection alone wont do it
Stock bore?

Im not worried about the tuning aspect.
There is a lot of info on IRL forums in regards to raising comp. Most that are running 10.1-10.5 actually have small pulleys too. I am going to be running the stock one and I do not plan on changing it.
Yes, they are the stock bore.
Yes I know, but if needed, I have another one.
Any suggestions on spark plugs? Stock or should I go a step colder? That is one thing I wasn't sure about.
