Been cheaper to put a bigger intake, build the motor, and get a tune. Now you have to get a new motor plus build it and tune.
Hopefully block and head is ok.
Have a feeling it was in the tune.

paul tuned him... and paul is pushing 414whp dd but 1 important difference.... he has the hahn intake manifold...
hey paul with the 60 trim do you fall completly out of the powerband when u shift to the next gear cause of the shity cobalt gearing... thats what your latest video on streetfire sounded like...

As for the tune He was running 20.50 psi, 23 degrees of timing, and Meth injection at an 11.7:1 afr. Car was running great, did like 15 pulls on the dyno last week and no issues, just a freak thing I guess. I dunno, my motor is still fine somehow.
oh yeah and I still do use the car for dd use, it was fun yesterday since I'm still on the racegas from Friday night (gotta love 35+mph lol) spinning 3rd on the highway sure scares the **** out of people.

yeah unfortunately, but mainly because the WOT box wasn't working. When it does work I don't lose boost btwn shifts.

wow so even at that boost level the meth was letting him get away with 23 degrees? thats impresive...that the 1 reason im keeping my meth although i went hahn level 5

Yeah that's why I'll be putting meth back in my car, I can only run 17.5 degrees under full boost which depending on temp is usually 20.50-21 psi.
but yeah it was definitely not a tuning issue, car was setup perfectly, just one of those freak things we attribute to the stock intake manifold.

well no-one has solid proof... but i've yet to see guys running the hahn or saab have a problem but anyone who attempts to push the 375whp envelope with stock is having issues it seems... thats reason enough for me! plus paul picked up 64whp by swapping out to the hahn intake and intercooler so there was obviously a huge restriction in the manifold causing un even air distribution and heat issues
but in all honestly when your dealing with stock hyper pistons ringlands are an issue no matter what set-up

yeah it was a .57 trim ebay turbo
the hahn manifold is key I swear lol.
but seriously there has to be some explanation to my car, that's all I can think of. chris was running almost my identical setup, tune is close to the same, just little more timing up top, same fuel pump, injectors, I dunn
