**** that.... march pricing and release 2 -3 months later. First off the pricing was suppossed to be released in November at SEMA. The release was supposed to happen in Feb. Now the pricing hasnt even been released and it is Mid Fed. And then you have to wait 3 mths ? WTF ! I scheduled this huge meet in May thinking that the kits would be out by then ......... If this is true intense is about to get my money. **** GM what is your plan ? Let's wait so long and **** all of our customer s off then not release the package at all ???? I mean I drove next to a stg2 about a month ago and the GM engineer said that day was the final day of testing so what the hell is the hold up ?

Keep in mind the March pricing might only be for canada....Doc posted prices that were confirmed in the comp by NJblue.
Why does everyone over react on one piece of info...damn people get a grip!!
As for the hold-up...maybe CARB exemption which can take FOREVER.

I was sick of the rumors ... the "my dealer says this", "my parts department says that" ... so I went straight to the source - GMPP. After talking to a few people there (good people that want this product to be made available as much as we do), the significant portion of the "official" response I got (via e-mail) was as follows:
Availability for these kits is still the first quarter of 2006. They (both) will be available at your local GM Performance Parts Dealer near the end of the first quarter (March) or the beginning of second quarter (April).
While they did not comment on rumors regarding delays due to warranty issues and what not, their response has increased my willingness to wait another month or so ... and the fact that it's still winter up here and I'm runnin around on snow tires doesn't hurt .

I have 7k sitting there waiting to put into my car now. As far as warranty, I went full extended warranty but screw it. I want the POWER now, for the track and no matter what, if I blow the engine on the track I am not covered anyways. And like what was just said what if GM waits so long and then we wait forever because there aren't enough kits to go around?
