I thought it came with a 2.9" pulley
Also, I know 1/4 mile times vary, but What should i be ABOUT running with a stg. 2 compared to what most balts run 1/4 stock?

it depends on whether your going for a show car or speed. i got st.2 exhaust and intake first, thats all the speed i need for now, now im goin into appearance mods, halos, hood, rims etc..

i love my stage 2 with my K&n intake and cat back magnaflow. i lov e the fact i can still get 35 mpg highway and 25 city and still be able to whoop other cars asses. ive been beating sti's gt mustangs with mods, Z's, uhh tons of other stuff. cars still light with around 255 hp to the wheels i love it.

I did the gms2 with the gms3 pulley and liked it alot, but then wanted more and did aem cai, magnaflow 2.5 catback, ca 2.5 downpipe, ttr motor mounts, ca poly trans mounts in billet housing, so on and so forth, AFTER I did full suspension first, H&R springs, progress swaybar, dc strutbar. But thats cuase theres alot of windy hilly old country roads here and since i knew i was going to want to get into it i wanted to make sure i had a better chance of handling it first.
But then after all that I did the Indash AVIC D3 ( first cobalt to do so ) with navi etc etc. If your going to do once I reccomend it over a flipout. Just makes it look alot cleaner.
Goodluck whichever way you go

stage 2 is definitely noticeable, but it will leave you wanting more. it provides a little taste of what the car is capable of. boost is like crack cocaine, very addictive.
do what is more important to you. if goin faster is more important, then get stage 2. if you rather have an indash dvd/nav for convenience, then do that. if you are like most of you're gonna end up getting both eventually anyways so it really wont matter

Now i installed my stage 2 on 2007 sc and got a noticeable difference but still disappointed. thought it would be more. gm has new calibration codes for 07 so i wonder if they stepped down a notch. the guy at my shop who installs these kits told me that my car should be pulling more. pushing 14-15psi. wondering if its normal or whatnot.

Hey man, I have 2 cobalt SS/SC's, one stock the other stage 2. (and I'm big into Audio/Video in the car too) I would say get the stage 2 first...then get the indash. I drive my car (non stg 2) about every other day and the g/f's (Stg 2) car the other days and am very happy with the performance increase. I've been buying audio stuff for my car for about a year but haven't started my install yet, probably waiting for the last of my pieces or a go faster goodie first. But her car with stage 2 I've been installing stuff in. we are waiting for some money for a indash, but glad we did stage 2 first...
Short version, own 2 SS/SC's, one stg 2 one stock...drive both regularly.....Stg 2 good....Buy stage 2 put off nav...

I agree with everyone else! Get the stage 2. It's sweet!!! But get ready to get addicted to modding. I didn't think it was going to happen to me but it did. I told myself that I was just going to get the stage 2 and intake. Now look at my sig. and not done yet. Good luck with your decision.
