I also recommend the option B which will work well with the stage 3 dual end pass

I'm stage 2 also.
I'm gonna go with zzp stage 3 though seems like a good deal. Not too expensive, $400.

You could also get a custom dual-pass + option B setup from most of the reputable vendors here on ss.net:

A 2.99 from the classifieds or smoothflowpulleys:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/sear...y=2.99+OR+76mm
http://www.smoothflowpulleys.com/Stage2.html

and the GMS3 tune from Trifecta WITH A/C unlocked and HPT accessibility using your stock PCM:

Well i am in the same spot you are but have decided to go this way. I am getting the 76mm pulley from ottp for 50.00. Then when trifecta comes back on the 15 of August i will be doing the stage 3 ecu flash + Trifecta tune. Also buying the HP Tuners Suite.

That should net me some pretty good gains. Dont have a CAI or exhaust yet but will be adding those in about 15 days after i do this.

I was told that the stage 3 + Trifecat tunes brings 20 to 30hp on top of what stage two puts out. Waiting for Vince to get in touch with my local tuner.

Best of luck in whatever you choose to do.

Stage 3 from Trifecta is the same as Stage 3 from GM, with the exception of being able to modify it with HP Tuners and use your A/C.

GM rates S2 at 241hp, and S3 is rated at 260hp with HOM enabled (GM never rated it with HOM off, but its somewhere in the middle). Its not a major increase in power, but then again its not a major decrease in pulley size either, so its good for what it is.

If I were you I'd go ahead and drop down to a 2.90. The leaner mixture of GMS3 allows for a little more injector breathing room and you'll definitely make more power.

What GM calls a "Stage 2 Kit" is not the same as what OTTP and ZZP call a "Stage 2 Kit". They are different setups.

So OTTP stage 2 would be better than GM? What about ZZP?

But the GM does not require cooling mods.. Correct?
