Stage 3 next check

I want to buy the CA stage 3 with my next paycheck. Is there anything extra I need to purchase for this.. I plan on getting a custom tune.. I read on the ZZP website about a snout machining tool that will make my snout accept a 2.8 pulley.. Will the stock pulley not fit a 2.7? Does anybody else have this stage kit? How does it feel for you guys.

Stage #3 : 2.7 ZZP Interchangeable Pulley system , 1 step colder ngk IRIDIUM spark plugs , GM shortened belt , 42# Lucas Injectors , Injector Wiring Harness, Stage #3 Retune ... Est. 65 Hp over stock - 18 psi boost

^^ everything included in the kit

thanks man thats good to know... umm.. should I just do a "make it yourself" stage. I saw you had an Intense stage 3.. what is in that. where i'm looking doesn't give an description. Oh and do i need to buy HPTuners software.. or find a shop or somethin that has it.. My friends keep saying i need to buy a tunable ECU.. but don't we have tunable ECU's already.

I'd say make your own kit. Get the 2.7 pulley (if thats the one you want), 60lb. injectors, spark plugs, smaller belt, and a custom tune. You don't need to machine the snout for a 2.7 pulley, it is only needed in some cases for a 2.6 and a 2.5 or lower. You'll also want to consider traction mods (mounts, traction bars) and cooling mods (meth, H/E, dual pass).

Piece together your own kit. One thing your really going to need to consider though is traction mods (mounts ect.)

To start:
60lb. injectors
2.8in. pulley
GM shortened belt
custom tune
poly mounts

Additional:
intake
full exhaust
meth
cobra heat exchanger

yeah, i think a few of the pulleys will fit the snout without machining...but i remember someone put on a 2.7 and their belt broke because the pulley was stuck on the snout when they started the engine...

thanks guys for the help so far.. i do want the 2.7 pulley. So that's what i'll do i'll just piece togethor my own kit. I've been looking at mounts and such. I wanted to get my full exhaust and coilovers before i do that though.. how important is a heat exchanger with a 2.7? i mean it's not like i have to have it to install this pulley. i can wait another 2 months

2.7 makes a lot of heat...usually anything under a 2.8 you should at least get a dual pass endplate if not that AND a H/E.
