Stock Boost Psi?

naw runs good actually feel like it runs best on a mid grade............ but the i think the only thing that it could be is the filter............ do u know if the filter just screws on?

well i just got bought mine on the 12 with 1/2 tank in it..didnt know what kinda fuel the dealer put into it...i put 93 lastnight and also did oil change...and my boost show just shy of 10 psi..im goin to check now for any cracks in the lines...off topic its a f-ing pain to do the oil change well to replace the oil filter is another project in its self...im still wondering if my car is a g85 package i did a search to see and from what they say..i can say i have it then..but not really sure cause the dealer i bought it from didnt know **** ..all he new is that its s/c...and couldnt tell me crap about the car except that its in great shape( 7300 miles on it and only paid 15k for car...steal...i love florida)

The reason why your fuel octane was pointed out above is because if the computer detects knock it could cut boost out for protection. I'm actually not positive on how much control the computer has over that but it doesn't matter because you should run premium or AT LEAST mid grade. 87 octane will cause the computer to adjust timing to avoid knock; depending on your environment and driving conditions it varies on how much the computer must retard the spark and if it's bad enough the computer may cut some boost (Like I said I don't know to what extent it can do this, but it's the easiest place to start).

did you not read the manual?
did your dealership not tell you your car needs premium fuel?
If you cant afford a few bucks at the pump, you shouldnt have bought a car that needs premium.
