There's nowhere to bolt the heat exchanger to on the condenser after you bolt the condenser to the radiator. Waste of time.

My advise to get longer bolts and get bolts sleeves to hold it in place. You will see both sides are not the same measurement.

Yes I used longer bolts. What are you doing, using the same bolt to hold both parts on there?

there's nowhere on the condenser to bolt the h/e to.

I did exactly that. Fit horribly and the h/e sat way too low. It might be ok in Florida but up here that thing will be destroyed after one winter.

Not worth the hassle.

I did that and I did strap it on top of h/e. It did hold up well before I got rid of it to get Cruze then got rid of Cruze and got LNF. LOL!

I would say best bet get ZZP Stealth H/E and be done with it. Have them weld the bung for Option B. It's a must for LSJ.

^^^lol. after probably 4 years , I figured out why Zoomers single pass was inferior in independent customer tests, to dual pass, back to back/ car to car. I wonder what the deal is on the stealth....

Just so we're clear, here's a picture of the stock condenser. I rotated it to show how it bolts onto the car like so: There are two places where a bolt can pass through on each side to hold the condenser in place. The tabs on top fit into the plastic tabs on the radiator. If you use the two bolt holes to mount the condenser to the radiator, then there's nowhere to bolt the heat exchanger to. The only other way is to use the same bolt to hold the condenser AND the heat exchanger in place, which makes for poor fitment.

Take Powell's advice or leave it stock!

I just noticed something - the bracket on the OP's heat exchanger is different from mine. My car is a 2007, not sure if that makes a difference or not.

all brackets were the same all lsjs from redline 04 to cobalt 07
stock wth an option b bleed is as good as you can get in terms of little money spent for good results.

That ZZP Stealth looks nice but how the hell does it bolt up in front of the condenser? In their pics it looks like the condenser is bolted to the radiator but then where does the stealth bolt up to?

nope you simply remove two nuts that are already there for some reason or another, slap her on over the studs and put on the new nuts included with the h/e

it's nice how zzp did that, what with it being in front of the a.c. condensor. granted, it is not the best fit by any means. i couldn't fit my a.c. condensor back in, but that may be user install error. the input and ouput lines stretch just past the radiator to stock locations.
