Well a 12.9 was the best I managed on the third run. On the 4th run I went spray and broke some ****. Possibly a methanol backfire as I hadn't turned the switch on for nitrous yet:

12.9 off the nitrous, hmm. me thinks those slicks had something to do with it.
Goddayyum @ the meth backfire. Destroyed that intake manifold. Lucky it didn't **** up the supercharger. Just the bypass valve.

I knew as I was driving home it was either the throttle body or bypass valve. I checked the rotors on the blower though. They still look brand new lol. This thing is a champ, even with the bypass bent wide open like that it will still make 5 psi by 4000rpm lol.
When are you and I going to race? I make about the same power you do in a car that weighs about 800lbs less. I really wouldn't talk lol.

wow that's interesting, I have never heard of a methanol backfire before. I am going to research up on this and see how common it is and how exactly it happens. I have sprayed a fairly high mixture of meth with extremely high iats and iat2's and still have never had this happen.
Are you thinking about backing down your methanol mixture now to save problems from occurring in the future?

It was a 12.9, here's the slip. Car 005. And a pic of my car for reference to the car number.
Nope, not backing it down. I think it was a fluke and possibly the bypass valve not opening in time. I mean I hit like 24psi when it happened lol. Methanol can catch fire in an intake manifold, don't let anyone fool you lol. That's why they're required to sell "methanol injection fluid" as a 50/50 or 51/49 mixture.
He's A second faster than me off the bottle even. On the highway that goat would be in my dust.

With that silly 108 trap, I hightly doubt anyone would be in your dust on the highway. Besides, rice racing is frown'd upon.
Dyno 400+ to the tire, with two power adders... The best trap you could come up with is 108?
It don't matter how much traction you have (1.9 is subaverage with those tires), that is sad.

Lol I wasn't even spraying at the track. A 108 trap with a 12.95 on just 321whp/265ft.lbs. isn't too awful if you ask me. Do you know of any other LSJs making over 400whp, still running, with just ONE power adder? I can only name three lol. Also "on those tires" I was spinning at the track even. PRP just plain has shitty track prep. They only respray just before all the "fast" slick cars run, right after all the street cars have ran. And if you're going to go by trap speeds, I can name vehicles that run a 12.0 at the track on just a 108 trap speed. I guarentee I waste them rolling though.

I dyno'd 255whp and was running 13.4's and trapping 110mph. Also getting 2.0 60's on OEM tires.
Only had ~500 dollars into the car at the time as well. 2.5" ring, 60#s, intake, and Tune.
This was before PRP went NHRA and prep was even worse. Let's compare the amount of work, modifications, and money into your LSJ compared to my old car.
I've also personally seen a TVS car with your same pulley, trap 113 with a bad set of coilpacks and letting off half way in third because of the misfires. Let alone what it trapped with good spark.
I am not trying to be an ******* (okay, I am), but something is clearly wrong.
