I almost grabbed one of those. I think mine will be just fine now that the ac and he are out of the way though

Ya more then lickly.

So i get the car all buttoned up ready to fire up.
And the canister has a crack now. Im Gona try to make it work we will see.

Isn't the LE5 crank cast how much hp is it good for?

All the ecotec cranks are pretty beefy. I'd be surprised to see anyone having trouble at anything less than 600hp.

Has anybody broken a 2.4 crank?

This is the very first start up notice the new engine rattles and noises. After about 2 min its silent. Runs well
The valve train sound like stock.

Car sounds amazing with the Cams and high compression.

It revs like a ****.
Havnt messed with the tune this was the tune from my 2.0 un Modied.
After i warmed up i drove it a Lil and the car seemed to always want to die coming back to idle. Im sure its just the tune.

I believe so. Wasn't really paying attention. I was waatching everything eles.

I knoticed im only making 3-5 of vacume im sure my tune was all over the place. Cuz my wideband was

im setting around 11inhg at idle check the evap connections and how high was it idling

Im not running the evap its all capped off.
It was idling right at 800 were its set to

Dude... 8K into the build... wow

Makes me look at the pricing breakdown i'm doing for my potential 2.1L hybrid and just realize that it's not nearly as expensive as I think

Mine will be quite stock though, nothing nasty like that.

so now that i have a few miles on this 2.4. most everything seems good to go.
my oil cooler arives today so the car is going back in the garage to pull the front bumper off to mount this huge cooler and oil thermostat housing and lines to go with it all. new oil pressure guage and oil temp guage on the way
