It's a sealed unit, but you can still change it. There's a how-to here about how to do it. Just curious, what size pulley are you running?

Yes you can fill them.

There is a drain on the snout where you empty and fill the oil.

Eaton claims the oil should last the life of the blower. No need to really change it unless you sense there is a problem.

I'm assuming changing the oil, will not affect the coupler noises?

It sounds like the bearings need lube. I can hear them at idle if I put my ear down to the s/c.

Nope ....

If your coupler is getting noisy it may be time to change it.

The rotors make noise at idle to (which is perfectly normal).

Are you sure it's the bearings ?

i changed my s/c oil at 55k miles just for peace of mind. now im at 70k and no noises or nothing coming from blower. shes on a 2.7 pulley but has been on a 2.9 since 1000 miles. changed to 2.7 pulley at about 65k miles. changing oil on blower is cake.

they're not wrong altogether. They're just assuming you've done nothing as far as decreasing your pulley size. On a stock or stage II pulley, you won't have to service the eaton until about 100k, but by then I'd either just replace it or consider your other options (like turbo or tvs). With a 2.8" pulley, it won't be incredibly necessary. It's really for those guys that are on 2.5" pullies or less. But if you still want to do it, you'll just need one bottle from GM. 4oz for a wet fill, and 6 oz. for a dry fill.

Not necessarily. I read how many miles you had on another thread, so it most likely is a good thing to change anyway. You have to pull the s/c off when you change its oil anyway, so take a look at the rotors and see their condition. If the coupler is still noise after the oil change, you might as well change out the coupler for a new one. They come pretty cheap anyway, so if it were me, I would just replace it anyway.

I am dumb. I dont know everything. But if its suppose to have a noise, then imma leave it alone. I see my drain plug on my snout, thats why I asked them if they was sure it was completely sealed.

I just like to make sure my **** is runnin good and make sure if somethin sounds wrong, I fix it asap.

I'd say replace the oil if it's for your own peace of mind, but that mileage and pulley size doesn't mandate you NEED to change it.

lmao yeah i've replaced the tensioner cause i thought that was it but it came back .
GM rates the oil good for over 100k miles, but it's cheap and easy to do if you really feel like it.
