All Major plug manufacterers suggest you at least check plug gaps before install.....

5 minutes of time = accurate plug gap and good spark kernel and anti fouling tendencies. Not to mention proper quenching ..

After swapping out my ngks for zex plugs, the ngks where CTCOBALTs were a light brown mine were like a reddish brown. Whats that mean? Anyone have a link to info (with pics) showing all types of plug conditions?

Right before you posted that I found out my had MMT deposits. Basically my octane booster made it rusty lol. I was worried because I never saw plugs with that rust color.

I get tuned tomorrow so why not swap them out now. Muhaha

I liked the NGKs (BKR7E) too but they are a year old so it's time to change them.

The pic of the NGK plug is what all the plugs looked like. So that is a 1 year old NGK plug.

Just incase people wanted to try Zex plugs the model number is #82003-4 Here is a link.

Did you have to gap them or did they already come pregapped. If not, how would you gap them.

They come pre-gapped. Just pop them in.

BTW they are still running strong.

These plugs should help with that. Good luck with everything.

Let us know if the plug swap cured the misfiring.
