the one on the left is the heavy duty the one on the right is standard in 05 the heavy duty was used on exh only then in late 07 GM started using the heavy duty on int. and exh.

I had the new style (heavy duty), on both my intake and exhaust sides from the factory.

Late model 07' ftw!!

I have yet to check what my 04 redline has, most likely the older style, I do have a set of the better/newer ones that I might throw in there at one point if need be

He's always been the baby sitter. Now it's just official.

Kind of like relationships. Not official til it's fb official
(at least when you're a teenager)

i dont recall what the conversation was lol i know you told me the GMR stuff was no different then stock and i remember telling you it didnt matter, was just looking for refresher stuff, its no big deal though i have two sets, just gonna sell yours again. Everything I pulled from my old LE5 head seemed to be fine after it went through the parts washer.

Yeah, I explained how if you plan on high rpms or higher horsepower not to buy them, but that they would be ok in a stock or lightly modified car.

They are still perfectly fine to sell, and will be ok for someone to use. Hell, they are brand new, zero miles, lol.

I sold them, because my car came with the upgraded ones from the factory.

Good stuff...

So there is no issue swapping the light duty ones out for the heavy duty ones?

Nope that's kinda the point on the thread to show there was a revision to a better product so you can upgrade if you have it apart.
