mrniceguy.. i don't think running a 2.9 on stage 3 is safe.. stage 3 is more lean than stage 2..
i got my stage 3 installed.. but can't start the car up because i broke the Steam Pipe Bolt... so now im fucked.. and hafta wait until tuesday to install that.. and then hopefully i don't have any leaks and everythings good.. 80 buks later

I might buy a 2.99 from smoothflow. Still have some other things in the works. It is a project still to be completed. Car def. runs 100% better with the stage 3 pcm though.

good to hear,i still can't believe i broke the bolt... i have everything installed and it was my first time ever doing something like that... it was a major bitch getting the pulley off and was a bitch getting the stage 2 belt on the lower part of the car. I ended up taking the wheel off and goin in from the fender... I just hope i don't have any leaks and **** and hope i don't break the bolt off again.

i ran the car today for the first time.. i do love it... to take the belt offf i saved time an hassle by jacking up the front and taking the inner plastic off and then you got direct acces to the belt.. on the bottom... much easier to do..
Yet another question
For the 100 oct. mode, I turned it on while on 93 to see if it would shut off... it shut off in the middle of 3rd gear due to knock.. i was wondering if it would be safe to run 5 gallons of 108 and then fill up the rest with 93... that would even it out to be 100 oct. right? or should i get 112? I don't know whats safe and i don't wanna blow my car up. Also if I put in my 1 step colder plugs will that help with the knock on 100 oct. mode with 93?
bump

I have not tried using 100+ octane yet... but I will. I also tried the 100 octane mode in my car with 93 octane in it. I romped it pretty good and it still stayed in 100 octane mode. Idk, maybe it is my plugs that are preventing the knock? I tried the NGK bkr7e plugs, but didn't like them. I noticed a considerable difference with the denso iridium IK20 ( or stock # 5304 ) plugs. they are expensive, like 8-9 bucks a plug but are well worth it.

idk... i didn't (don't) think you can spray meth and nitrous at once... so i guess i'd actually better off just running race gas and then spray... thanks tho
Thanks for the pcm it runs great!

i'm just curious how they manage to pull this off and release it to the market if they're supposedly maxed out off a 3" pulley

IDC- injector duty cycle... IATs- Intake air temperature before supercharger... IAT2- Intake air temperature after manifold.... correct me if I am wrong... That does sound pretty strange that HP tuners can't even run a scan on it. I mean with the S2 PCM and my 2.90 pulley from Nate I am seeing IDC of like 114% at about 6800 rpm so hopefully some light can be shed on this

theres nothing wrong with that. if you were spraying crazy amounts of spray like 300+ shot then there might be an issue of the nos freezing the meth and water, but at a 50 shot i think the odds are in your favor... oh well... up to you, when i broke it down the race gas was approx $8-10 a gallon wich lasts approx 20 miles and meth is $8-10 a gallon and lasts upwards of 100mi per gallon... now of coarse this all depends on how much you will use it and what nozzle size and what not but you see the point! and then you dont have to waste your race gas by driving around on it...

bring back this thread to life
im running a 2.85 with stage 3
ZERO KNOCK.
car pulls great.
I have the NGK BKR7e plugs, they are gapped pretty small since i was runnin a smaller pully b4, gonna regap if i notice any hiccups or try the stockers.
but so far she runs great, and detonation free, and pulls hard.
still gotta try high octane mode.
my nitrous setup is being worked on as we speak.
i have all the monitoring gauges needed.
