Yea, its been talked about, and I know it has been done, but no mention of what nozzle or mixture was used to achieve it.

agreed!!! it all in the set-up and the nozzle size

ok, it worked for me all summer long in '07

this was my set-up,

cai, ported tb blower inlet, dual pass, stage 3 pcm, zzp shorty header, zzp 3in catless dp, 3in custom magnaflow exhaust.

AIS methenol kit non progressive, line pressure at 160-175 pump turned all the way up from ais, 6gph nozzle located in a tb spacer (<---very important) 75-80% pure M1 methenol with distilled water.

Thanks for the info, did it make much of a difference using the 100 Mode versus 93? I'd like to know if I'm wasting my time for a minimal gain.

I didn't need to do any sort of relearn when I installed my Stage 3 PCM. It was 100% plug and play.

as long as you have arm switch and the proper wiring setup your good.

Im just wondering if people are running the stock plugs when they are spraying.
Very late response, but Yes, stock plugs on spray. The engine bogs and hesitates with others.

Really .... only a 13.5. Does he have any traction mods ? I heard of guys getting 12.9's on this setup . Must be with only drag slicks then .

you mention the car runs "ALOT" better with the GMS3 ECU then it did with the GMS2 ECU .... did you install the Stage 3 ECU at the same time you dropped down to the Stage 3 76mm pulley ?? if so, thats why the car felt like it ran better. I have the 07' GM Stage Tune, and when i dropped down to the Stage 3 pulley from the Stage 2 pulley my car felt like it ran a lot better. If this is is not the case, I'm very interested in learning more about the GMS3 ECU.

people say it runs leaner than stage 2, but is that when the high octane mode or nitrous mode is engaged ?? it is to my understanding that the GMS3 tune is identicle to the GMS2 tune when you arent running high octane mode or nitrous.

the 93 tune stage 3 offers and the Gm stage 2 tune are different....
The stage 3 tune is more agressive, Timing, etc, smoother, and leaner at wot.

ok thanks ....

i have to clarify this though .... there is no GM Stage 2 Tune. GM Stage 1 & GM Stage 2 come with the same tune .... So really there is the GM Stage tune for Stages 1 & 2 & the GM Stage 3 tune. I know its easier to just call it the GM Stage 2 tune, but when new people come on here they get confused by the diff. tunes out there.
