Stock LSJ limiter is 158, LNF is 155. As Bika mentioned above, there's a bunch of things that could stop you from getting there, not the least of which is our horrible inaccurate speedometers.

More than likely heatsoak. i did two back to back speed runs before on the first one I got up to 220km/h and thought I saw something so I slowed down then I went again and it wouldnt go any faster than 250km/h. This was on Stage 3 with no cooling mods

I would really like to figure out what is limiting the top end speed of my car. If the limiter is at 158, why does it suddenly fall on its face at 140? Like i mentioned before, it's got plenty of power after 130, but as soon as it hits 140, it just stops dead and will not climb any higher.

Nothing against Ottp tunes bit alot of people have issues with them. They could have lowered your speed limiter. I raced a 350whp sti in a warhoise district closed off and I was at 155 mph and about 5 cars ahead of the sti and I had to stop and my car was still pulling like a bi@."... Check ure ic pump to see if it's working you could be heatsoaking

Maybe its a computer issue relating to GM? I raced my dads LS2 SSR against my brothers 05 Saleen S281 (btw dead even race) and after our first run, it dropped power by at least half... I couldnt hide that by dad... But anywho, he took it to the dealer and they said the computer in it recognized different driving conditions and went strict on everything by cutting fuel and air... till the dealer could flip it back. So maybe your comp did something? Idk... far fetch i know but possible.
I had my old SVT Focus to 145 a few times... but after like the 20th time I blew it at 135 going up a hill... Valve spring split, dropped valve into chamber and destroyed everything inside. Also... the couldnt find the valve any more haha 7300rpms had its way with it. Luckily... SVT said it still shouldnt have done that and replaced the engine for just my diagnostic fee/deductible... $100 for a new Forged engine ....
....then I sold it to a girl and she wrecked it... But anywho!
weird situation.
I'd put my money on wind. Its such a huge factor.
