Traction

Opinions!!??!! I want traction through 1st and second. My ingalls took away most of my wheelhop, and i havent ran at the track yet but i beat a 2006 mustang gt with intake and exhaust. maybe he couldnt drive but im pretty sure im in the 13's. Should I get motor/tranny mounts.....or get traction bars. thanks

Those all help eliminate wheel hop, but if the wheel hop issue is gone, then get some stickier rubber, or even DR's for the track. But be careful with DR's, your axles will go bye bye if ur not careful.

he said it wasnt completely gone... then he asked about mounts or traction bars.. which is when i said the comment about not reading what has been posted (IMO at least 4 times a day)

but i agree sticker tires will be nice.. still what i said stands, on street tires u need to control your right foot for traction

drag radials will give u great traction but ur axles are in danger according to first hand accounts

is there a price on axels better than 800? thats expensive for a poor college student. either way i think i wil go with the poly mounts for 60 buks cuz you cant beat a 60 dollar mod, and then get the traction bars. axels will have to come later at the sae time as a clutch because if i go DR's and axels my clutch will go bye bye

Get dr's and call it a day, you can get all the mounts in the world, and you will still spin through first.

since you have the ingalls already, dont get motor mounts next. leave that for after you get the Tranny mounts and the traction bars, then get the TTR motor mounts.

he just said hes a poor college student.. like me.. so i wouldnt get drag radials until i had enough money to afford the things that are going to break.. he just said he cant so why would he risk it

i aint gettin DR's until i got enough money to buy DSS axles when the stock ones break
