Trouble Code P0103 AGAIN!
It seems that everytime I race someone I get the trouble code p0103. I had a Injen CAI on the car and I figured it was because of that but I now have my stock intake on it with the stock filter and it still happens. Make the car run like ****. I've got a GM Stage Flash and 42.5lb/hr Intense injectors and a 2.8" pulley. Any ideas?

I think the GM injectors are about 42.08lb/hr if I remember correctly. I know what the trouble means but why am I getting it? I took the MAF out and it is clean and installed correctly. It only happens when I do a bunch of wide open throttle runs.

Spray the MAF sensor with some MAF Cleaner from a parts store. You may have a small amout of filter oil on the MAF Wires. I clean my MAF everytime I clean my Filter.

I found out why I, and lots of people get this code. The problem is the car throws a code for anything over 10,000hz at the MAF sensor. Where I live and with a smaller pulley it goes over the allowed hertz.

Please expand your explanation some more. I am getting this code every once in a while. It only happens at full throttle and on colder days. I am thinking that it is the MAF but not sure. I have no CA and GM stage 2 with 2.8.

It is the MAF Fail Frequency, once you get up in the revs with a smaller pulley some of the car are going above 10 000hz and that the fail frequency. At lease thats what was wrong with mine. Once I got HP Tuners I put the frequeancy up to 11 000 and it has not happened again.

This hasnt been posted on in a couple weeks but i used the "Search" and found this thread but i just got the code today came on once i past 6500 Rpms.
I cleared the code and when i restarted it didnt come back.
I looked at that site and it said
* Verify that the Mass Air Flow Sensor wiring is connected properly and that there are no broken / frayed wires.
* Inspect for any air leaks near the MAF sensor.
* Take the MAF out and clean it using a spray cleaner such as brake cleaner or electrical contact cleaner. Be gentle with the sensor.
* Check the voltage of the MAF sensor (refer to a repair manual for vehicle specific information)
* Replace the MAF sensor.
If i needed to replace the MAF how much do they cost ?

Interesting, I've had the injen and gotten 1 code. The 0171 code and I cleared it and its never come back. That was after a day at the track almost running out of gas. On a side note, I set my frequency at 11500 and haven't had an issue.

Forgive me if I'm asking a dumb question, but I don't know much about this area of the car. Can this be avoided any other way besides HPtuners? Is there an aftermarket MAF that would have a higher tolerance? (or will there be?) Or is this setting in the car's computer, and the MAF is merely reading it? I'm guessing the latter if you can latter it with HPT.

Time to revive this bitch...
Ok so when I punch it in second gear I get this code P0103/P0304.
Im trifecta tuned without a 3 bar sensor, does what make any difference ?
And would better spark blugs correct the misfire ?
****,sorry wrong area to post this in
