Turbo LSJ's...enter.

i'm in need of a new turbo manifold. for those of you running a tubular one such as vulcan for example. or even a custom one. how is clearance as far as the turbo/wastegate goes? i've got a 3076 on a log style right now but it broke the weld at the wastegate and i'd rather spend the money now on the manifold that i'll be using for the build. just curious about fitment.

remember about fittment if you want the sme pipe routings and ect. Id get a cast manifold , with the t3 flange an a flage for the wastegate.

yeah i'm not worried about the pipes. gonna have new ones made. i'll have that wadefab guy in louisville do it. i've been creepin around 502 and it looks like he does some legit work.

but if you were confuesd. yes i'm still fixing the current one tomorrow and running that till i get a new one

sweetif your not worried about the turbo i can get that borg warner turbo ect for cheap even the apex gt35 just let me know. these turboes were only used for track purposes btw so every season they were changed.

what all have you found so far? since i'm goin with a different manifold i could always change the flange. i just want it externally gated.

TWO .57 TRIM TURBOS, the apex gt35r and the borg warner.

there is also a gt35rs but i dont think its gonna have the 4 bolt exaust flang i think its v band

hmmmmm

i may be getting a new manifold sooner than i thought then. hahah. cause if it turns out to be the turbo thats goin out i'll want one like, yesterday. thats just how i am. so i can always have the downpipe redone as well.

Wade does good stuff. I haven't talked to him personally, but have seen all kinds of his work floating around the car scene out here. The welds are nice and I haven't heard any bad press.

and how is used sub par? do zzp parts become sub par after theyre used? they also only have log style manifolds.

i'm buying a turbo as well. zzp manifold+turbo. not $300

not necessarily. I'm using zzp's mani on a 20g and hahn's dp. Of course, I am having a curved exhaust piece fab'd up thoug.

considering the only other tubular turbo mani for an ecotec thats advertised is rdfabs which about noone has there is no for example it is just the vulcan lol. look at all the people who sell them, and what they get, it's not for ***** and giggles.

yeah i'm not worried about piping. thats going to be taken car of. but zzp is a log style. i'm looking for a tubular. i need more clearance.
