I'm having someone do it for me. And mr. Jimbo ain't i doing research right now? I'm not planning on getting it until idk a month maybe a little longer. Right now i'm just putting in my new engine etc. Just asking questions to know my options because I was going to go ahead and buy the tvs kit and all the cooling mods but I rather go turbo.

a good place to start your research is here:

after you read and understand all that you also need to understand the LSJ pulley system and lower IM needs to be addressed. also where to tap for oil and coolant feed lines etc, then fueling requirement, and finally tuning.....enjoy the reading, makes notes, formulate a solid build plan, buy parts, install, tune.......drive a well running car, not a thrown together POS. all my opinions lol take it for what its worth.
i know, i'm a sucker for these threads

yeah for the OP there's alot to it... and also when you start asking questions, you're going to start getting alot of opinions.
garrett said the gt3071r is their best turbo for a 2L motor, but some around here say the gt28 is, or the gt3076r, or some even with the gt35.
there's no set in stone constraints or instructions on what to use and how to do it, and from the massive amount of options available stems the benefits and the confusion

also I recommend making it an open dump set up so you'll want to fab up a pipe for that too cus it just sounds sooo purty
