I couldn't resist.... Good news is.. if I stick with the 50/50 mixing, my afr should only move half that much..
I am not sure if either of you have read this but it is something that you both will find very interesting.

Most of it is over my head, but to address the ethanol blend you both are talking about right now. There is not that big of a difference in detonation resistance between E85 and E50.

It is a great read esp for the turdro guys! lol

It's more simplistic IMO to just run E85. I don't feel like running to two different pumps just to fill and needing to "guess" how much fuel I need to add of each to get a full tank of gas

Saved for afterwork reading :

I'm sort of feeling this out, seeing if mixing is too much trouble or if its no big deal. If i deside i can keep it up forever, I'll remove the methanol injection and see if i can keep my timing where i want it.

I set up my config in HPT to show me gallons in the fuel tank, the math is easy with that available.

I drove my car on E all last winter and not many places in the US get colder than bumfuck North Dakota and it started every single time instantly. My subaru friends however couldnt get their cars to start for ****...so its kind of like playing on the edge lol. Im parking my car this winter but if I was driving it I would probably switch back to 91 just for a little better mileage so I dont have to fill up in the cold so much...and I never go WOT in winter so running E85 has no benefits for me in the cold.

Then Tom is doin it wrong!!! haha just playin I was actually technically doing it "wrong" but I found that the car had no issues starting if you left it scaled on 60's and ran the 80's on E85...you know the method. This year I have had to start the car a few times at 20* or so (scaled on 80's of course) and it still starts fine, but its not terribly cold yet. When its really cold my vehicle should start just fine...my 92 dodge dakota

Well, my idea was that i could use my truck as my back-up if it didn't start for some reason.. but.. it caught on fire the other day... LOL.. (only burnt up a couple wires and vacuum line.. but it shakes your confidence in your back-up vehicle..lol)
