Updates:
Everything including the oversized intercooler bolted in with no cutting or modification. Everything uses existing mounting holes and bolts so there was no cutting, even with the massive front mount. The parts all look factory and I even had to ask if the turbo kit was fully installed looking at the car on the dyno. It was so I am very impressed with the fabbing and color choices the guys made for all the parts, hoses and boots.
The car is using all turbonetics boots, blow off, wastegate, etc. No expense was spared. We are experimenting on the dyno with a solid intake duct vs. flexible currently.
The car is responding better than our Cobalt did but part of it may be due to using production parts and oversized everything.
The car is currently making 301WHP at 6k rpm with 18psi and 9.8:1 AF ratio. You can't get any more conservative than that so we expect 350WHP on less than 20PSI but we will ultimately be leaving the HP number up to the customer. The build looks to be ready for 500WHP but I"m not sure the clutch, axles, etc are up for it. Nor do I know if the customer wants to take the risk with a stock engine. Right now, we're just tuning it all in and getting the vac lines right and the supercharger/turbo switch setup, etc. We will rev it up higher, lean it out, and up the boost (if the customer wants us to) and report back.
The bad news is that the tune is off from our car. With everything the same, the car is 2 pts lower AF ratio than ours was. This could be due to 07/06 difference, MAF differences, injector differences, etc. We're not sure but the kit may require a tuner for final fueling to be dialed in (on shipped kits). This car has a return style fuel systm now and 60# injectors. I can't tell you guys how pleased I am with how good this install turned out. I'll post back once we discuss with the owner final goals for power and such.

I really want to see how TVS and twincharge compare so I guess we will be going down some roads by your place. and as for being more epic and STG2 vs GTO:

We started to get this setup dialed in this afternoon. At 22.5 psi, 11.7:1 AFR, conservative timing, it peaked at 384 whp at 6800 RPM. Adding a couple more psi took it past 400 whp at only 6300 RPM, but the pull was cut short due to a miss. We plan to gap the plugs a little tighter and make a clean pull at 400 whp.
06black, what turbo are you running?
