Its a possibility, but I could possibly see if dealer would tune seeing ill be there for warranty reasons anyway. This dealer has a whole corvette showroom with about 16 corvettes and holds many car shows in New England, so this is the reason why I would ask them.

The Tis2web service show what updates have already been flashed to your various control modules . It's not a list of needed flashes . That being said ... i reflashed my car in 6/07 then again in 11/07 and in that 5 month time line there were a handful of new updates.

Hey guys just giving you a heads up, I'm a GM Techline Consultant and it's my job to deal with programming issues and all the supported computer terminals, and products. IE tech2 mdi and the dealership networks. My heads up is to NOT get a reflash unless the updated calibration is specific to an issue your having with your car. There's no calibration that's going to fix an issue that you "may" have. The reason I say this is that the new calibration may cause an issue, or a hickup that you may not like. It may "feel" different, or worse. If it's not broke, don't fix it. And back dating a reflash is not an easy task. A technician has to call the Techline Customer Support Center and have them backdate the calibration...if they even allow that, I've never tried. A decent dealership 99% of the time won't let you update your calibrations unless your having some kind of issue with your vehicle that the new calibration will fix.

several people have used the latest flash most having no prior issue and noone has had any issues with it in fact mention the car drives smoother. Like I mentioned in my original post a way long time ago there is a false lean/lean issue that can occur and no, repeat no cel will show up unless certain requirements are met while on the current on cycle. So you could be driving with that issue for a long time without even a notice that you have been running in a non optimal state. Most people now are using the latest flash anyway but there are still many people on the old one im sure.

No ****! The old flash was not using the extra boost, and was jetting too much fuel because it thought you still had the stock injectors! Thank god you got it done now. You def. have shortened the life of your catalitic converter though
