I have the vibrant headers and dp with the gmpp cat back exhaust. It sounds deep and great, but I have a problem with the gasket for the headers. Vibrant told me that I could use a standard cobalt gasket but after installation I hear a ticking.

When i layed the gasket over the headers it was a bit smaller than the openining on the headers. I feel this is where the ticking is coming from. Can you guys tell me what gasket's you are using with your vibrant headers?

'07 ss/sc cobalt
installed:
jbp cold air intake
vibrant headers/dp
gmpp catback exhaust

to be installed:
stage III kit
water methanol injection
tune

the Gm gasket, just stock type from Crate Engine Depot, the holes in the gasket are the same size as the holes on the back of the motor, mine were smaller than the holes on the header as well

id like to know this also.. I have the vibrant header/downpipe with a magnaflow catback and when i cold start the car it sounds like I have a leak. All the bolts, Header/Downpipe/Catback, are tight. after a few minutes it goes away. Does everyone get the same thing? Or do I have a leak?
