there are a ton of stock eliminator rwd conversion cars out there. last year during the divisional race at my local track (mission raceway, mission bc) there were about 10 of them, some rather clean cars too. stock eliminator conversion cars must run a full interior and be built from a steel body car, no fiberglass/ carbon fiber. i only saw one with all working lights though, however with all the lights working, put the wipers back in and some dot legal tires and it would be road legal.

street legal is a loose term. depends where you live, in texas it just means mirrors on the drivers side OR windshield and working signal lights and seatbelts depending on the year, 64 and older no seat belts, 65-80 something all you need is a lapbelt, newer needs 3point in the front seats. hell my county doesnt even have noise laws or smog laws, i can run open headers, and do

I was asking b/c I came across one in my mustang monthly magazine. It was in a readers 'garage'. Looking for it again to see details, (there wasnt much iirc), but I don't remember it being 'full race'.

Pretty please.
I had thought about doing this but I believe this site would shut that down.
I honestly can't believe that with all I have poured into this project, it still isn't finished and that it has burned up most of the budget. I have learnt some valuable lessons from this project and most of those lessons weren't positive.
The DD has become a nightmare. I am fighting with JBP over 'things'. This morning I am heading down to the shop doing the rebuild and 'check in'.
She has snapped but has chosen to let me live because I am the life support system for her favorite sex toy. Sadly she has really put the brakes on the project because of several issues.
I am in the process of deciding where to have the project finished.
As I had mentioned there was going to be movement early this month but the first movement will be decisions on where & how to complete the project. The easiest way is likely to make some design modifications.

I'm not Saying "I told you so" because I didn't. I'm just letting you know that you are not the only one that has had a terrible experience with JBP, Many on the J-body.org site have as well. (and I had enough trouble tring to get information from them I deemed it not worth my time to do buisness with them.)
I hope you get it worked out, there has to be a respectable shop in your area, I really would like to see your car finished.
Good luck. (Hope the Wife lets you finish her)
