Not out of the woods yet.....
...but the wife and I worked out a plan to go forward with the project. The plan requires a lot of overtime for me as well as belt tightening. I am also going to have to end up doing work that requires some help from people with automotive metal/paint/wiring skills as the money runs out at that point.
The plan for now will allow for a complete chassis/drivetrain and everything else could very well rely on the help/generosity of others. I should have the car home for wiring in 2 weeks when the engine block goes to the machine shop.
I am feeling better today than I was all of last week.

Thanks everyone
Yes my wife is truly one of a kind and the best woman in the world for me.
Here is a rundown on what is left with the project.....
The LSX block needs to be machined and then built, the supercharger needs to have brackets mad and the piping routed. We are changing the clip to allow for better steering control as well as extending the wheelbase from 104" to 105". The wing needs to be fabricated and the parachute mounted. There is some finishing touches needed on the wheelie bars as well as the wiring of the Bigstuff3 has to be fixed because of JBP's incompetence.
The windsheild wiper (govt required) has to be fabricated and the rear fenders have to opened up another 1.5"s to accommodate the slicks. The engine will also need to tuned and the suspension set up and fine tuned.
That pretty much describes the shops work. My responsibilites cover the interior, paint, wiring and instalation of the gauges.

Could someone please give me the cliffs on this saga.Because the way I have loosely followed this it has been a huge money pit that someone got in way over their head on, and started asking for donations to build. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.
