how about i continue to post right here about the rwd cobalt concept and you deal with it? im not judging anyone or calling anyone out, im talking about the work needed to make a project like this happen. your post on the other hand is literally just a waste of space, your not talking about the topic and not contributing anything to the thread.

Returning to previously scheduled programming
Thank you Lee ( Black SS/SC 06 )
Instead of rehashing why I am where I am and how this project became all that it is I can only ask that people get the general gist of the story by reading either the long or short version of the project on my website. Those who have been with me since the beginning already know that I am only trying to see this through regardless of the many deceitful shops that have hampered and bled this project. While I would never do this same thing over again it makes no sense throwing everything away with nothing to show for it.
Now for some news. I am still working on this project and I will see it through. Now that racing season is over up here I am going at a relaxed pace and do as much as I can, leaving only the mechanical end to the engine builder. I haven't totally planned out the interior but I have made some in roads there as well.
The car has made some progress as well as having a bit of an issue with the engine builder. The engine isn't built but is supposed to be back from the machine shop. I will be at the shop tomorrow and I will have more information after that.
The wiring is to the point where we have all the lights, front/signal/tails/park/brake, wired up. The power windows are also working. I am close to being done on the gauge pods although I need to order another gauge which will go in the gauge pod that will mount of the roll bar.
I am also working on getting the car into primer but first I need to get a piece of sheet metal welded into where we put cut out to fit the side exit ehaust pipe to match the one on the passenger side. This part should have been done by now put my 'welding guy' has not shown up and I don't have the skills. I hope that it will be done soon and I will try arranging it for this weekend.
I have had to make a few more changes but I will explain more of them Sunday evening. I will also post up some updated pics.

If you are not going to post anything constructive in this thread then don't post. It really is quite simple. This thread is not about photobucket, cutoff pictures, or join dates. It is about a RWD Cobalt build.
Next time I have to clean this thread up over nonsense, people are getting banned.
Try me.
And they wonder why all the knowledgeable people left.......

Great to hear. I am selling mine but this will be one good reason for me to stay on the forum and keep checking this thread! Best of luck and hopefully the road from here on out is smooth sailing.

The car has slowed down a bit as the engine builder has been dealing with prostate cancer. He is starting to feel better but I don't expect him to be assembling the engine until the beginning of January. That should work well as I need to take the time to sell unneeded car/racing parts to fund the last few big $$$ parts needed to finish the car.
I know I was supposed to post pictures a while back but my camera died and am replacing this weekend so up t date pics will be posted early next week.
