For me I wasn't excited for awhile but now as I get down there and start working at it again, I know that the day will come when I can do a smoke show.

Hell yes man Get her dony by any means! Ill most definitely stay tuned in no matter how long it takes! Glad to see your wife has not only not killed you, But is not killing this project! You are a lucky man and should include her in your workout routine in the bedroom! Gotta stay heart healthy!

We have also already booked a 2 week Hawaii vacation for next year which helps her stay focused on things other than the car.

Thanks
Paul, if I had actually known how bad it was when we got to JBP I would have let you guys go for it, after (of course) we carried out everything in that shop that wasn't bolted down as well as a few of the things that were bolted down.

And yes that 20/20 stuff sucks.
That plan is a bit ambigous still as Harvey decided to go with the Procharger FR-1 mount on a direct drive pully. The last time I brought up the fact it was time for him to actually buy the system with the money I paid 21 months ago he started spouting twin turbos but until he has the next surgery I am just letting him focus on getting better. I should get the power adder straigtened out the beginning of 2013.

Nothing looks better then a gear drive centri :-) if you do stay with a centri let me know. I worked for Vortech/Paxton and i can get you the direct line to my friend who is now the sales manager. He might be able to get you a deal on Vortechs new line of centris. Code name for them around Vortech are F2 and F3 killers lol.

I hope to pop in this week and see how Harvey is doing. I am giving him a little extra time/space simply because he has so much bad health that I don't want this car to be the thing that kills him, nothing is worth that. I have also talked to the fellow who would get the shop should Harvey not make it and he has told me that he will make sure the car gets done so that is a bit reassuring.

Sort of bringing this back out of no where, but I hope things are looking up for you Rod. I've had some **** luck over the past couple years myself, so I understand. I had to admit defeat and sell my $12K LSJ motor I had built for $8K. That was to pay off my bills because I was broke as **** and to buy a used stock LSJ only to get the car back up and running for my crazy ass ex-girlfriend to total the Cobalt into a Tattoo shop only two months later. Then not even a month after that I hydroplaned in the Integra and backed that into a telephone pole totaling it. After all was said and done, I paid off the rest of my bills with the insurance from the Cobalt and bought a new integra shell to swap everything into. I know that was not nearly as much as you have invested, but you have hung in there strong and that is quite respectable! Props to one of the OG's for sticking in there through thick and thin!

I'm still wishing you good luck. Again, what you had gone thru is unbelievable, but I hope it won't be an endless project. I just hope that you'll finally find someone that no longer screws you like all the previous companies you dealt with.

Harvey goes in for a major surgery on the 10th and if he makes it through to 10 hour procedure then he should finally round the corner and start getting back to normal as he heals. The Dr's are saying that they are optomistic but no guarantees that he survives.
