Update
Okay guys it is time for a very encouraging bit of news. First the pictures.
The suspension parts are being fitted for the front and rear, before being seny for powdercoating. I hope you enjoy the pics and is that a light I see at the end of that long tunnel.
The crank and rods are not here yet
but there is good news about the engine.
After discussions with Mev @ JBP, he is going to build an engine dyno to tune my engine (then other Ecotecs) and test the turbo system before we ever put it into the car. This way the engine will be broken in before it ever hits the street. This is a very valuable asset for JBP and anyone wanting to have some serious engine work done thru JBP.

WOW. thats all i can say. cant wait to see the finish product.
did the frame get custom made too? looks like it. ive seen v8's in cobalts with the original frame but had stiffiners

youve made much more progress on yours than i have on mine. so far ive got new valve covers and plugs n wires. ordered a carb rebuild kit. got clogged with that old fuel. dunno if i want to backhalf first or do IRS up front first. my front susp bushings are rotten and need replacing. my rear is good.

I have to tell you guys that I am really excited to see these pics myself. It even gives me hope that someday the car will be done.
As mentioned, there is a lot of adjustability in all the suspension, which allows me to plan for what ever road surface I am on. Distinct Images Custom Auto really understood that I didn't want to sacrifice and street handling capabilites.
The axels are the street ones w the posi rear. We also have a drag strip only set of axels and spool rear end.
Next week they are only working on my car so plenty more pictures should be available in another ten days or so. That also means I better get ready to write another check.
