I think the car should be wighted 50/50 and you should straddle the transmission like a bike. get electric paddle shifting on the wheel too. (ooohhh I just set this project back for another 6months to a year Huh )

HOLY **** MAN.. your amazing.. you gotta give us some tips at cost here man.. like jesus.. I would love to know what Kinda of time and money would go into a project like that (not two engines but you know, the actual rear wheel drive conversion setup..

As previously stated, this project is expensive but I won't post up a total $ amount.
The cost would fluctuate for anyone else doing something similar, simply because of what I maybe doing that is not needed for their final goals.
Example, if someone is doing the rwd conversion but not wanting to race under 10 seconds, lots of money could be saved on the chassis and cage.
As for the time aspect, the tricky part is getting the different shops to do the work in a timely fashion. The delays for parts, especially custom ones, is something uncontrollable and quite frusturating at times.
Personally I started my project on May 21st, '06. The plans changed a few times causing some of the delays and the RWD conversion was actually the biggest delay I have incurred to date. One shop had my car for 6 months and did nothing to it. That really hurt and firing him should have been done sooner.
